    Fallow in Scotland

I know there are not as many fallow deer here in Scotland as down south, but according to BDS data, there are some in Dumfries & Galloway, around Loch Lomond and some in Lothians.
Is there anyone who take people fallow stalking and is not too expensive? I am not looking for trophy heads. Even pricet or hinds later in the season would do. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks,
    Greg

I will give you some free advice here.

I wouldn't go with Bertie Robertson of Annadale Estates unless you like being stitched up. He is a rip off merchant- allegedly.

PM me if you need anymore info about this.

    Glogin,

Try around the Kindrogan Forrest area, between Pitlochry and Bride of Cally. I used to shoot Fallow there a few years ago courtesy of the then owner of The Log Cabin Hotel and Chalets. There are lot of Fallow, Roe and some Reds inthe forrest and surrounding farms. Might be worth a bit of effort on your part to get some permission. You could try the guys at the Bridge of Cally Hotel I have hears thet are the Biz at organising all types of shooting in the area.

    Hope this helps.

    Jim
