As requested by MS a Poll

Clearly there are people on this forum that are interested in Bow Hunting, rather than continuing to have posts about bow hunting popping up in other forums why not create a bow hunting area of the forums that people can read or ignore to their hearts content.

Yes we know hunting with a bow is illegal in the UK but so is importing African buffalo and shooting them, but we have a big game forum.

I ask that you be open minded and accept that some people like to travel to different parts of the world to do different things before you cast your vote.

I voted yes on the grounds that:
    1. There is never anything to gain by refusing to discuss something.
    2. Being opposed to things without actually researching and understanding them is akin to bigotry.
    3. If it's interesting enough for Robin Hood, it's interesting enough for me to read about!

Why would we want to go back to the stone age?
I think for the sake of our game and vermin we should do everything to ensure a quick death. Stabbing with an arrow is not the way.

The middle ages would do me just fine with appropriate vaccination!

I've got no objection to people wanting to explore and discuss the merits of bow-hunting (either in UK or elsewhere). It took all of 2 seconds to find this:- BOWHUNTING, THE ALTERNATIVE CALIBRE - Home
    I voted no.

Perhaps we can have a section on illegal stuff generally?

    Quality
Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position
