    For those who are interested.

On Sunday 13-01-13, laid a trail for Thor , Red Deer cleats, in tracking shoes no blood and a 4inch square of skin. Conditions were minus 3 degrees frost with a dusting of snow forecast was more snow. Ground was grazing fields alongside a large block of woodland mostly deciduous. I had intended to do the track 48 to 59 hrs later but the dog started to be sick on Sun pm and diarrhea all day Monday. he would not eat or drink Mon or Tues, so to Vet on Tues pm for two jabs. Wednesday he was a lot better ate some boiled chicken with a little dog food and was drinking again .By now we had 6 inch of snow and night temp Tues minus 10 degrees. Temp at 10. 20 am Wednesday, start of the track - 3 degrees and 73 Hrs old . Well I thought he might fail but he excelled himself we both could not find the strike point as the field covered in snow and paddled flat by the sheep but once we got to the fence he was checking for the correct scent . The piece of skin I had only used when going over or through bad obstacles not all the time. so we were off on top of the snow where endless other tracks from Roe , Hares, Badgers, Fox, Rabbits and Pheasant. The Red track was covered and under 6 inch of frozen snow under the other scents. Obviously he did not find it easy he had to ring and we had to go back when he got off the track he did check out some of the other scents but together we worked it out . 2.25 Kilometers , 1.4 miles so a very happy little FUHRER for sure.
If anyone requires help anytime to find a wounded beast or lost beast please ring me we are genuine and only willing to help not criticise in any shape or form. PM if you wish my contact numbers. Also don't worry i am not looking to take your stalking as I have enough more than enough to be honest.

Laid on Sunday.....done with dog today=72hours plus old with snow on top, freezing conditions day and night and more snow on top.....oh and added distractions.
The track below all of the above.
There is but 1 dog in the country that could do that,no other.
Absolutely no other dog.....well done Widu and Thor....

Well done. Has the dog had any formal training or is it all your own work? Where do you operate?
