Thread: I resisted a $400 Tikka last night.

    I resisted a $400 Tikka last night.

Owning up to New Year's Resolution, I passed on a like-new Tikka t3 in 308 for $400 last night. I was supremely proud of myself.

So much so that I dropped $350 on a scope. (sigh...)~Muir

    So you saved:
    • $400 by not buying the rifle
    • $100 on not paying out on the resolution

    But spent:
    • $350 on a scope

So does that mean you are $150 up

No new guns for me yet this year !

But I do have a MEC600JR 16 gauge loader on order right now but thats only $155 dealer cost to me !

At that money it's just a pity you couldn't send it over here that would be a cracking rifle for over half price for someone.

Keep going Muir, think of all the scopes, reloading gear and rifle accesories you can buy
in the comming year. Perhaps you will have to build a new gear room beside your
gun room to store it all. LOL (:-)

That Tikka is a good deal here, too. I almost caved in but.... I needed a scope and not a seventh 308 to feed. I still have a CZ 550 at a friends place I need to do something with. He traded it to me, i found it too heavy and handed it back, telling him we'd settle up later. So it's still there waiting....Muir

Does that mean if you trade in a rifle you can buy a rifle without infringing on the rules of your wager?

If so that Tikka would be a really cheap rifle....................................
