    New design butler creeks covers

Not sure if I have missed these but just discovered what are described as the tactical covers. I'm not fussed about a name just as long as they are more robust than standard butler creeks!

They look like the 'hinge' has been done away with and replaced by two flexible pieces of plastic that 'bend' to allow for opening. I wonder how long they will last before constant stress caused by bending splits the plastic.

Should be an improvement if the choice of material is right and at least there is no cross pin to fall out!

It may be the front cover is quieter on release than the old ones which is another bonus.

    Designed to fail.
I can speak in-depth and with great knowledge about most subjects until some bugger who actually knows what he is speaking about opens his gob .
