Thoughts for a US weekend in June

    Hi all

Has anyone got any advice for how to spend a weekend in the US. I will have 1pm Friday to Sunday night 21 - 23 June this year free starting and returning to Kansas. I am on a military exercise so free flights there and back so a great chance to try the US experience.

Not going to get away with anything spectacular and it is not the best time of year but it beats spunking a lot of cash in Vegas and coming home to divorce!

    Many thanks

Prairie dog shooting it the most fun you will have with your clothes on. But if there are a lot in the area you will speand a fortune on ammo.

    Jinga,
The Cabelas superstore located near Kansas City airport is quite an experience which would eat up half a day.

+1 on the Cabelas suggestion. I've spent many a happy hour in their Hamburg, PA, store where they have a museum of trophy heads, a fantastic selection of new and used rifles and shotguns and - most weekends - some special event or other:
