Hi lads in starting a course on using your Binos the course will last 15 mins and will cover taking your Binos out of the case putting them around your neck , and focusing plus even cleaning the lenses!!! All I'm asking is 500 quid per course , ( 750 for range finding Binos ) it's rumored that in future you won't be allowed to set foot outside your door without this qualification as of next year so get in quick lads

My credentials are that I own more than one pair and have used them in the company of 2 or 3 people so obviously im more than qualified

Perhaps we could combine it with the course I am running its the "Tying up of Stalking boot laces course" £300 for a 10 minute instruction followed by exam and assesment. This of course is part one. part two (recomended by FAO,s) would be Tying up laces in the dark. Only an extra £150.
Places filling fast.
Tusker.

Oh oh oh. I'm in plus have you got any plans to bring out a level two spoting scope course? It could be candidate led and IPC's over 5 trips out!

£500 bargin and completely needed.

I will agree to this as long as it is understood that any stalkerish practical experience in the field means NOTHING as long as they haven't taken our courses agreed?

It's worth remembering gents that before the dsc course 98% of deer were shot in the gut , the jaw or back legs so my course is aimed at completely eliminating any misses ( the 0.002% that currently exist due to the dsc ) at all by using your Binos properly ! And please don't give me that crap that you're experienced because I'd you don't take my course you are obviously cruel and don't care about deer welfare

you haven't here the news yet then! Some one herd the rum or that wellys were going to be allowed for stalking if you have the right certificate.

So I formulated my course to enable the use of rubber wellys in the field. I am very well placed to leed the course as I have from time to time used waders! Although the use if waders will be coverd briefly it is not recommended to candidates on the course. As that is in fact a section 69 item. And you need advanced training to be able to look at them.

You know I get the impression that some of you aren't taking this thread seriously!!! Here's why you should! ... I was once out stalking with a pro stalker who had his dsc level 1and 2 but because I didn't and was stood within 10 yards of him it made him take his shot from 1500 yards!! Sadly this resulted in a wounded beast :( we had to track it for 6 weeks till we could make a kill shot :( if only I had made the effort to take as many courses as possible then maybe this guy would have made a sensible shot and the combined qualifications would have guided the bullet to a 1 shot kill! .... Please don't make the same mistake as me gents .... Get some qualifications and be all you can be!!! :)

Sadly yes it was taken from a high seat made from two pylons stacked in top of one another while live :( ... I'm sorry lads

I would have though better of a DSC L58 like your self. It seams like your stalker only had a very basic knowlage. If he had only taken your BUC L1 course? Then
He would have looked through the right end of the binoculars. Tragic really!

Anyone considering the "Tactical MilDot Milliradian Target Turret Laser Guided and Illuminated Rifle Scope", more commonly known as the deer sniping optics course?
I think this would be a useful addition to the boy scout badges...ooops 'qualifications' that we are required to have being that we all aspire to be safe and ethical hunters.
I would imagine that most would be willing to pay £750 for this course of instruction, it could be sweetened by a cup of tea and some soggy biscuits...

I'm up for it if there's a nice badge to be had upon completion and Zeiss users get a good discount.

What's the retake fee should I fail? I'm struggling with the box.

I've heard rumours that the FC now insist on stalkers having completed this course-a chief executive who deals with their health qnd safety heard a member of admin say 'can't see the wood for the trees' and alarm bells started ringing!
