    Hi there,
    what would you say is the top 5 powders for a 130 grn,for red/ sika.

    I use 58.2gr of Reloader 22 to push my sierra 130gr game king's to great effect. The Red's I've shot have not got up and complained.

    H4831, R22, and H4350, all ggod in my 270 with 130 grainers deerwarden

    N160
    Hear RL22 and 4831 are good to...but i never got past using n160

    Tried most of them but ended up with H-4831sc for my rifle.

    H4831 but I prefer the original "long" kernel as it fills the case better with 54 to 55 grain loads, or IMR-4350, or Vihtavouri N160 would be my choice...however I have only ever loaded 140 grain or 150 grain bullets in my 270 WCF Parker-Hale with velocities around 2,800fps to 2,900fps.
