    Heym SR21 or Sauer 202 - .270/.30-06 Left Handed!

Afternoon all - just back from the shooting show and rather took a liking to the Heym and Sauer rifles - I know it's a long shot but if anyone has or knows of a such a rifle for sale I would be very interested, ideally I want a .270 or .30-06 as these calibres would cover all the shooting I want to do nicely - thanks in advance - Bregalad

    Hi
Simon has the most stunning as new Heym L/H in 7x57 on the shelf with mounts and the 7x57 will do just about every thing the .270/.30-06 will do with the right choice of load in it. I must also say you will never be dissapointed in choosing a Heym, good luck with your search but do ring Simon on 01491 671648 Tuesdays-Saturdays inclusive.
The ORDNANCE QF 18 pounder Field Gun......I wonder if they will let me have one of these on an open ticket

    Hi,

I have a Heym SR21 in 7x64, anniversary model in fantastic condition. Screw cut with moderator fitted, both rifle and moderator have the same serial number.

    PM for more details.

    Must add, not L/H

Yes I have seen this on their webpage - I did really want a .270/.30-06 as there is a bit more poke to be had, also I will be taking a trip to New Zealand before too long and the ammo is much more readily available there - but I agree for most situations in the UK there won't be a practical difference.

I concur with Sako3006 the Heym Reeves have in 7x57 is outstanding if i had any spare funds I would add it to the collection.

7x57 is a very capable round I think it is also known as .275 which was used by the great Jim Corbett to shoot man eating Tigers.
