    Our guests from Finland

    Hi All

Just a quick write up to share our weekends hunt with our mates from Finland.

We had a very very wet and muddy weekend but with some good hunting.

Sakari managed to shoot his first Fallow and Muntjac and Aki shot his first Fallow having already shot a Muntjac with me a few years ago.

The Muntjac were hard work with with the poor weather but we ended up bagging three.

The Fallow were everywhere and we must have seen over fifty animals in various little groups we ended up with five and very unlucky not to shoot alot more.

Aki managed to shoot a couple of foxes which he was very keen to do.

A great time with two like minded hunters cant wait for the return trip in October.

    Nice going mate.

Looks a wet weekend but a good number in the larder.

Did you have a North wind on the fallow to see that many?

    Speak soon.

    Jon

We had a great three days hunting with a couple of very keen lads from Finland.

As Wayne said, the weather was pretty crap, especially on Sunday, but we saw plenty of deer and the lads were very pleased with the resulting bag.

Dont worry Robbo we saw 5 foxes the morning that Aki shot his two so some for you to look at .

Yes Jon it was a north wind, always a good direction for this ground. Though we did visit a second time when the wind was southerly and still saw plenty.

Another nice swap hunt weekend.....Well done my friends!
Now we already get very concrete for the swap back in Finland, great!!
BUT: First its the roebuck killer back in May, then hopefully another try for a chamois in late September, then a swap hunt for a Sika stag in Ireland, and then Finland..... Just before our driven hunt season starts with a few lads from the directory returning to Germany to give it a try for running boars.....
What will my missus say and do....

Please keep fingers crossed, I believe to be in the s*** already!

    Once again, congratulations,
    atb

    Thanks mate!
Thats pretty much exactly what I was expecting....
The thought about the communal house doesnt sound too illusory to me, maybe we got sponsored by the directory, because after all its the forum pushing us these ways
