    Parker hales and stripper clips

Can I use a stripper clip with an ex-military Mauser auctioned Parker hale? ( the one with the notched action)

Yes, and no. It depends if the "hump" has been removed and/or the cutout ON THE TOP OF THE REAR RECEIVER RING is still present. My artisan converted Belgian 98K in 280 Remington has the hump removed but part of the receiver cutout is still present. Part of it has been filled. It will work, after a fashion, with a stripper clip. But not as it is intended to do if the cutout and "hump" had been left in place unmodified.

do you happen to have a picture of the "hump"?
    does it hold the clip?

If you Google Mauser 98K you should see the hump and the channel on any as made military Mauser. I tried to post one but cannot.
