    Tikka Bolt Release

    Anyone know how to remove the bolt release catch on an M595? Ive got some smeg in there and would like to clean it all out?

    I'm a "happy hunter", but what the f*** are you doing with your rifle to get smeg anywhere near it!!!

    no I think it is a pin like most of the CZ/BRNO variants.
    its a pressure fit, then the action against the stock keeps it in place

    It shouldn't be too bad, can be tricky though .

    My old 25-06 was a pain, the pin kept shearing, but only with under keeper!
    he obviously brought it back with too much force, Calum gave me a bag of pins, easy to replace.
    had numerous other tikka s, with any probs.
