Only got it back tonight so cant wait to get out and get some trigger time. Before the work was done it was grouping about 3 inches but the original stock was totaly sh*gged. However I did take it to Scotland last Oct. and dropped a heavy stag at about 150 yrds. I am hoping that the new stock will bring the groups down a bit. Having said all that when it was on zero it did hold zero.
    Forgot to say Barska 3-9 X 50 scope 50.

That looks great to my eyes.

Have you bedded the stock at all, or is it just closely inlet?

I know some of the budget minded souls in the US use and rate the Barska scopes. myself I have never even seen one but personally I would be fitting something else. Something a bit more sleek. Have noticed a lot of these "modern" scopes with the awful large and sharply angled objective hosing to the tube. To my eyes they just look all wrong and need to me mounted so high.

Never tried a thumbhole. However as long as your pleased that's what really counts.

Please let us know how you get on with it.

Hi Brithunter, I know what you mean about the profile of the scope. I will be putting a Bushnell Banner on it eventualy these have a more sleek profile. The Barska,s do perform very well I have 2 now.

You should do it mate. The cost of the stock is so good and the choice is amazing. I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the speed at which it was delivered.
