    .222 Load using N133

My step son is arriving shortly with empty .222 cases and a set of dies
I promised that I would show him how to make some rounds up using my N133 powder but I have realised that I only have 55 grain FMJ bullets.I can't find a specific load for him.
Any suggestions using that combination for .222 please?
    Thanks
    Ed

look it up on the Viht website or the bullet makers site to be sure

The manual gives some data, but if differs depending on make of bullet

Thanks Saddler - I have had a quick look but Viht don't list Speer 55 grain FMJ boat tail bullets and vice versa ( this is the only combination I have to offer)
I have found a load for 50 grain but not 55 grain
Should any load for a .55 grain FMJ boat tail bullet be OK?

Check out the Lapua web sight it shows N 133 starting at 20 .8 gr to 22.7 gr using 55 gr soft point.
It dose list 56 gr FMJ.

    Thanks John
As a relatively new reloader I don't know if that load is suitable for an 'FMJ' bullet of the same weight

    The BOOK (4th Ed.) says:

    55 gr
    sako sp
    hornady fmjbt
    21.8 start 23.3 max

    but

    next section down has
    55 gr
    lapua
    20.2 start 20.7 max

I can scan & upload the page if you want?

Differences must be down to bearing/surface area - or some other such factor
