    "upgrade"
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.

ive two '75's and i started wandering about Blazers too.......have comments from friends on the recoil on an unmoderated .30-06 being a bit hefty, coincidently I'm trying one out thisafternoon, but to replace a rem700................my Sako's are definitely staying put!

...sorry Tree Dr, I should have added, I've seen a few '75's in 308win on the rack recently, seem to be a few hundred plus or minus from a grand. mod may add a bit more...depends where and how you sell it

I got mine at auction, immaculate rifle with a T8, brand new boxed leaupold VX7, a new boxed Sheppard scope, optilocks, hardcase, sling with a few more bits chucked in as a job lot for 1300 ....do the calcs on the scope prices alone and the rifle came to me for pence..... (right place right time :-)

+ 1 for me on that. I don't wish to add fuel to the fire and respect personal choice but having owned a sako 75 in .308 for several years and which was really accurate and dependable (it is in the process of being converted to a .338 Federal as we speak) and also still owning a Sako 85 s/s synthetic in 30-06, as well as an 85 in 7mm-08 which has been customised, I am obviously a Sako fan and cannot for the like of me imagine changing any one of them for a Blaser any time soon.

If you do want to sell your Sako 75 I can guarantee that it will not take long to sell. That should tell you something.
