    I stalked Cumbria since 1961 but had to give it up due to Glaucoma and partial loss of sight a few years ago.
    Now at nearly 82 so I cannot complain as I have done it all. All deer species in the country and passed the DSC1 and DSC2 etc.

    Just over the southern border but do stalk in cumbria

    Yes - very active in this great but very wet County.

    Mainly Red and Roe but I have shot a few Sika/ Red hybrids.

    Ha ha, we asked but they wouldn't have us. Something to do with too many sunny days and not enough holiday homes.

    To answer the OP, yes I stalk here, mainly Roe with occasional Red, a right mix of little woods, many with lots of dog walkers, mountain bikers, orienteers, lost walkers and the occasional one surrounded by houses who think there's no problems with letting their wolf hounds loose in the wood. All makes for interesting outings!
