New Hornady 6.5mm 123 grain SST

Anyone had a chance to use or try the new Hornady 6.5mm 123 grain SST ?

I just got their catalog for 2013 and noticed them . I'll try and acquire a box and see for myself in the 6.5x55 and possibly my 264 WIN MAG .

Well no one must have gotten their hands on any of these yet !

Suppose I'll put in an order for two boxes and see what happens !

Also wanna get a couple boxes of Hornady's new rubber tipped home defense load for the 30 Carbine . If they shoot well outta my grandfathers old M1 Carbine I may just try and pot a deer thats inside 40 yards .

Yup I have some loaded to test in my Grendel. I just need a brake in the weather to coincide with a day off.

Well finally got around to throwing some of these together and my conclusion was my rifle did not like them , tried with two different powders and could not get grouping below 1" @100yds so I now have 150 for sale if anyone else wants to give them a go.
Did mange to get 2 decent hunting loads using 130g sierra hpbt over 39.5g of varget and n140 giving a velocity of just over 2800 fps with each.

I saw a fellow shooting a box of them loaded by Hornady in their factory ammuntion for the 6.5 Creedmoor.
It gave the recipe on the box.
    35.0 gr Varget
    Federal 210M primer
    2,900 fps

He had shot a 5 round group at 300 yards of 1.1 inches.
