    Rangefinder

    Hi Guys;

    Looking for a decent quality Rangefinder, the only one I did own let’s say as recently been mis-placed in a forest just north of Moffat!! It was a Leica model, had it 8 yrs or so was happy enough with it.However no doubt the technology as now been superseded. Any advice greatly received,I may well now need to procure a New one, any recommendations always gratefully received.

    Thanks in advance

    Had it been the Arc mate, may well have been tempted. Wicked, no doubt Swaro quality, but i'm told they are a wee bit heavy and bulky. Looked at a pic on the web and they look more like a bino then a handy size rangefinder. thanks for the offers anyroad guys, appreciated.

    That Swarovski is well priced and good kit, if you want more compact then I'd say go for the Leica crf ?

    Can highly recommend the Vortex Ranger 1000, which retails for around £250. Bought one last year in America and I am more than happy with the quality. It is small and quite easily fits inside a pocket. Not sure where you will get one in the UK?
