Question Anyone got any load and bullet suggestions for a .243 Tikka T3?

    Hi fellas.

I'm going to start reloading again and was wondering if anyone had found any good Roe rounds for the Tikka T3 .243?
To save me reinventing the wheel...

    thanks for any help

87gr Hornady boat tail hollow point with 45gr Vit 160 works well
80gr Berger with 45gr Vit 160 works well
65gr Hornady V max with 44.5 Vit 140 works well

these are safe in the rifles I reload for obviously start a little less and work up

I got the POI as Federal Powershok

Disclaimer- This is what MY T3 Lite, in .243 liked. YOU will need to discover what YOUR T3 will like.

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

Hornady 100gr BTSP with 36gr N140 gives me 2850fps through a T3 varmint stainless for deer work
44gr N140 behind 58gr ballistic tips gives 3700fps for foxes

This has been very successful in various rifles over the last 12 years since I found out about it, including - Tikka, Sako, Blaser, RWS, Remington. Small variations on the powder charge between rifles to get the sweet spot.

Currently using 46grns of H414, CCI Magnum (Match seem to work well too) large rifle primers, Nosler 70grn Baltips - seating to 22230 or 2233 using a comparator on the ogee.

Usual disclaimer - these were found with development from a lower powder starting point to suit each rifle.

    H380 x 40grns behind an 87 Hornady HptBt
    H380 x 36grns behind a 100grn Sierra Spt
    Federal Mag Primers in both.
I have used this formula in .243's made by Heym, Sako, Remington, Ruger, Styre and Blaser.
All my rifles have been in good condition so cannot guarantee how they will perform in rifles of any other condition.

I've got a sako 85, which is basically the same gun...

    100gn Sierra SPBT
    37gn H4350
COAL 2.650 (mine is 2.670 but only cos I measured it up to 20 thou off lans)
    CL 2.036

I cloverleaf at 100yds with this recipe - was told heavier bullets in the .243 should be loaded with minimum loads in order to increase stability
