    Question Which Assessment Centre for DSC2?

    Hi folks.

    Does it matter or make any difference which Assessment Centre I register with for my DSC2?

    Steve the answer is no it dose not they all go to the same place DMQ.
    So phone about and get the cheapest. Barony were the cheapest but they seem to have got in line with the rest. There might be a price list on here not sure.

    I was told the BASC are a bit less picky with portfolios than BDS when they get sent in (not sure if this is true or not - and i'm not even anywhere near registering yet!).

    I would highly recommend BASC.

    Mary who works in the BASC assessment centre is full time, helpful and available to guide you through your DSC 2 portfolio building exercise.

    It's ashame BDS have got this reputation. Standards should be the same irrespective of what organisation you do it through!

    Why is this a 'shame'? I think you'll find that the BDS generally have a very good reputation for upholding the required level of standard which subsequently protects the credibility of the award, surely?

    If anything, the 'shame' is that some other less 'picky' providers may be willing to lower their standards to generate more income!
