    Cleaning rifle

Got bore snakes for the barells, what oil should I use to pull through. Also what should I clean the wood stock with to ensure it does not crack etc???????????

Oh, and Trade Secret Rapid Oil for the stock as it actually dries out one day but stuff like "Walnut Oil" often doesn't.

    never saw that, thanks

My Tikka Hunter is a dull dark brown. I want to keep it that way. I dont want to put a shine on it so is the rapid oil still fine to use?

Might be...I've used it on my Blaser F3 ok but the trick might be to use very fine steel wool to remove any gloss. I'd try it out on a bit unlikely to be noticed first!

You will have a problem then as just handling the stock over time will impart a shine to it. As it's a modern rifle then the finish is likely to be a poly finish so wipe the dirt off with a damp cloth and dry. Unless your daft enough to put the stock against a heat source or are very heavy and clumsy with it I doubt it will crack.
