    First Light / Last Light

I was thinking it might be useful for SD to have daily First Light / Last Light times at the top of the Forum page or

on a page to themselves? Using a surfing website up till now. Any thoughts?

It would depend where you are in the country, a big difference between the far North and the South, its easy really
almost every diary gives sunset sunrise times but they are GMT, find the sunrise sunset time for your area its one hour before one hour after.

Large variation and depends of weather and how far north you are. Nightmare to get right. Jayb has an hour more daylight night and morning from Sikamalc.

I'm sure JAYB will say that's due to the sun shining out his ars'e....

Position and hold must be firm enough to support the firearm
The firearm must point naturally at the target without any undue physical effort
Sight alignment (aiming) must be correct
The shot must be released and followed through without disturbing the position

I have an Android phone and use Sundroid. Sun rise and set, dawn & dusk (Civil, Nautical and astronomical), moon rise and set and amount of face visible (also does planets, but not much use for shooting).
There is a full blown and a free version - the free one is fine. I coughed up for the 'pro' version, but for hunting needs, the freebie is fine.

I use Sundroid on my phone - it lets you set multiple locations and gives sun rise and set times for each one.
