    First self loaded rounds

I fired my first home loaded rounds on Sunday, what a great feeling, they all went off and no bits of gun anywhere .

    well done lads,

its a nice feeling to have made your own loads up.

just wait until you drop somethiung with one, open up and have a look at how well it worked etc,

    safe loading and safer shooting

They put a hole in the target where i aimed them, about half the recoil of a factory round as I purposely started 10% low on the powder. I made 5 as a test batch and another 20 to the same recipie today.

Nice one, got great results straight away with the 22-250, but had a bit more experimentation with the .243 . Great fun .
