Was wondering what the opinions on this bipod was? Is it useful or is it just better to stay using shooting sticks?

Two different jobs, IMO. It's often difficult to get tall sticks short enough to do the sitting/kneeling position, which the Harris does very well - also copes with downhill shots well - have one on my foxing rifle. If you're happy with getting the taller sticks short enough, I'd stick (sorry) with that. You should make sure you have the right supports for the shooting you do most of.

I can't seem to get steady enough on sticks, wobble around to much. I like the idea for being able to kneel do so that you would be stable. Couple of my mates have got vanguards the tripod one an they really like them but I think their to expensive. But the the Harris is within £20 of the vanguards. I use a Edgar bros bipod ATM an I can't fault it apart from not being long enough!
