If you have a London camera exchange like shop near you there may well be some quality second hand ones,is a camera shop in bath called ace optics and they have a huge selection, all the top makes and the cheaper end binos,Swarovski el's are as good as binos get in my opinion.happy shopping, regards swaro

Depends what you want to spend. I have a pair of Minox HG8x43 and they're absolutely amazing, the cost over 500 new though, maybe more. ON the other hand I have a pair of Carl Zeiss Jena 8x30 which cost me about 50 some years ago, very high quality glass and you can get a pair on Ebay for not much more. I also have a pair of Russian Tento 7x35, they cost me 20 on Ebay and are ridiculously good for that money - I hear the 8x40 are good too.

If you want to buy new and low budget I hear that the less expensive Minox 8x42 and 10x42 are very good, you can get them for well under 200 if you hunt around on the internet: MINOX BF 8x42 or 10x42 BR NEW | eBay

    try avimo mil spec binos.

fully automatic focus. pick up and use, they are available from the USA now under licence and for sale on ebay. for about $390,

had a set of ex army ones and they are stunning for the cash.

Concencus appears to be new minox, anything in the x8 or x10 40/42mm will be fine. S/H Swarvs or Leica would be v good. Occn some military Leupolds come up at rediculous cheap prices v good for the money.
