    countryfile lets us down again

annoyed at bcc and countryfile not for the first time,I dont watch the rubbish normaly but was told they had something about deer on,need'nt have bothered as it was the usual crap, another pop star without a clue wanting to buy into the rural way of life.

This was'nt the issue that annoyed me, it was a piece about gainsborough and his famous painting of mr & mrs
andrews"i'm no art buff but its the one with mr andrews having a break from shooting"

the presenter announced that we are going to recreate this painting with the help of some local schoolchildren
so the camera pans around to the recreation and guess what, NO GUN TO BE SEEN

The stand in mr andrews looked awkward without his weapon,as we all would

When are the bbc going to grow a set

when we as hunters, shooters etc can watch programes about our sport on mainstream tv it will be a cold day in hell

Its funny how they are willing to take on North Korea but not the treehuggers. I guess they know who is the more dangerous and aren't willing to start anything with them.

The BBC will never show such things as guns and shooting. It's not they are concerned about the reaction of the EcoMentalists, it's against the BBC's socialist principles - and it's us muggins, the taxpayers, who are funding their claptrap. The worst one on that programme is that Craven fellow - a right little liberal pinko lefty. Can't abide the sight of him.
I follow Robin Page's admonition to never watch it and go for a walk instead.

    Sadly i have to agree..

I keep watching hoping a snippet of something really good might have been mistakenly left in but am usually left wondering why i bother watching.

If they put a hot weather girl on at the end might just help some flickers stay tuned
Blessed be the sheeple for they shall inherit bugger all...

But how many of us bother to complain to the BBC? Thats were the bunny huggers get the upper hand over us - as a collective we are apathetic and I think the organisations that represent us (BASC, CA etc) don't challenge the establishment as must as the anti-organisations do.

Why bother complaining?,.......... they are the property of the other side!

because not complaining makes it even easier for them to walk all over us. At least they would have to answer quesions such as why they found a musket offensive. Maybe david from basc could say if they are making a representation on our behalf

edited- Just been on and filled out their complaint form took less than 5 min and the promise a response. thought I should put my money were my mouth is!

Not a great fan of the programme generally, but don't you remember the item on country file last week about the need for deer management (and yes rifle was shown at one point, even though he didn't manage to make a shot).?
