    Bucks Enjoying The Sun

    I was up on my shoot on Monday checking the larsen traps when I came across a couple of bucks enjoying the warm evening sun.

    As I have not shot my first deer yet I will wait till they are out of velvet, as I can imagine whether it is small or large the first head is one that I will want to keep and one that I will not forget.

    I had to catch the train up to London today and saw three bucks enjoying the Sun too. I managed to grab a quick picture without them noticing:




    Sorry....couldn't resist. When I first read the thread heading that's what immediately sprang to mind.

    Joking aside, those are very nice pics of the bucks. It seems like everything is finally starting to realise that Spring is here.

    No I assume they saw the deer out at the side of the motorway, because within 2 days of em being on view well you know the rest.
