    6 point Buck Bleached

Shot a couple of bucks at the start of the season . . . Generally speaking I don't bother arseing around boiling out heads, but quite liked the irregular shape of this one and the pearling . . It was just out of velvet so instead of trying to artificially add colour to the antler I just bleached the whole bloody lot . . . .a taxidermist i'm not, but i'm quite happy with it. . .

It is a bit odd looking . . . .I thought it looked almost 'petrified' and chalky as if it was years old.

    Rob,
I've never used the paste always the liquid salon services (cover skull in cotton wool or Kitchen roll cut into strips)
    find it works just fine.

    Rgds, Buck.

Ps. have only boiled the skull out have still to bleach & colour.
