    Does deer remember?

I have an idea for a quickly assemble temp doebox for roe. Similar to a pigeon hide it would be light to carry, quiet, and up in two minutes flat. The impact on sight lines for the deer would be relatively small. Would the deer notice the change?

It all works out in the end and if it hasn't worked out well it isn't the end!

Hornet I take it that you mean bullet rather than the Hornet cartridge after all the original poster was talking about deer.
It's the calibre of the shooter that counts not the calibre of the rifle.
