    Lightly struck primer

Twice in the last 6 months I have taken a shot only for the round not to fire and on unloading finding only a small dimple on the primer. Its a remmy 700 in .223. I think it might only happen when I load a round gently it almost appears that the firing pin has not been either fully released or not cocked properly. When rechambered the rounds have fired correctly with nomal sized dimple in primer.

Anybody experienced the same and any idea of a solution?

    Thanks
