Another grand morning. James R. was here at 5am for the first time and after half an hour or we spotted this nice clean Buck with a Doe in the corner of a grass field. After a relatively easy Stalk he had him safely grassed. ( I should really be lieing through my teeth and telling you how difficult it was !!)
Anyway we've been fortunate to catch up with a good number of Bucks so far this season but there are plenty left ! - - book now to avoid disappointment !!

Aye John - -fit like ? - - as they say in the East ! - - I've had a few "wild goose" chases after the Roe during the last few months so it's been good to catch up with one or two recently. The place is moving wi' Geese here. Some Farmers must be seriously pissed off, they are doing a lot of damage in fields - - specially the winter crops. Always the same at this time of year, moving Northwards they stop here for refuelling then head for Iceland and Greenland.
They are awsome birds, I love seeing them and we invariably stop stalking and gaze up every time they pass overhead.

Your right it's a grand sight. We had a delivery the other day and a skein went over and I looked up and mentioned how nice it was to see them and the van driver said 'see who?' I pointed out the geese and said 'can't you hear them, there off North'. Then he wanted to know why, I was tempted to say on holiday but I was nice. I am always amazed how many people know so little about the ways of nature

Anyway when you have finished annoying those wee beasties you have down there, when you going to come up for a full sized one , your welcome anytime mate.
