Mike norris told me 42 grain of n150 with the 87 bthp will give me 3000 fps and 1700ft lbs out of a 20 inch 243 and the pressure is ok
I'm just wondering if anyone has tryed 42 grain before with combo ????

    That's alright then.

Take a look at the 90gr data on the Sierra website before you go ahead?

If I'm going to be accused of it then it's just as well I did it.

I'd start a little lower fella and work your way up my recipe by far exceeds your requirements but I would not post it on an open forum and expect it to work in someone else's rifle.
