Thread: Scope mounted torch ?

  1. #1

    Question Scope mounted torch ?

    Hi guys,

I'm off to Sweden at the end of the month to hunt wild boar and have been recommended by the land owner to purchase a scope mounted torch to use if conditions are really dark. Our planned hunt happens over a full moon so there may be no need for it but if it's too dark we may have to get the rifle ready over the feed site when the boar are there and then switch the torch on at the last second before firing Never done it like this before and obviously won't fire unless I'm confident in the shot.

I'm after small LED type torch and scope attachment preferably with some sort of hanging thumb switch, does anyone have any experience or recommendations?

*** Forgot to add, I want to keep the cost as low as possible, won't be using this very often and just need something simple and easy ***

    Thanks
    Jonathan

This one has been very popular with our customers....
Tracer LEDRay Tactical 800 Gun Light Kit Gun Mounted Lights
It comes in a hard case, has a set of coloured filters and can be converted from a button on the back of the torch to one on the stock, using parts included in the kit. Also includes clamp to fit to scope.
    Mark.
