That's a nice buck, and a cracking looking cocker as well. How do you find the cocker when out stalking?

It's the first season with him. He is good really, Needs a little tap with the sticks when he gets a little keen. I've had about 6 bucks now with him and he's yet to run in on any. You just need to know there limits. After about 2 hour of stalking he needs a little run then he's good again. They never rest or stop looking for things. I wish I was as switched on as him at 4 am.

I used a cocker for several years but didn't start her on deer until she was about 3. She was very steady at heel with deer only metres away but shivered uncontrollably with excitement when they were.

Probably by whistling or shouting its name I guess it would come back.

Shot him on the bank 100 yards from your buck. The little buck I shot in the wood we did first. Do you have a pic of that buck of yours.
