    .270 primers

    hello. im looking to start reloading in the next few months, i am taking a drive on sunday to a shop to collect all the concumables for the calibers i intend to load for, what primers should i be getting for the 270 winchester? many thanks

    I personally use CCI 200
    if you can get CCI BR then they are just as good if not better
    Rem 9 1/2 are fine also

    to be honest take what you can get a regular supply of!

    +1 on the cci 200 primers they work great in my .270 with barnes ammo and h4350 powder

    Federal GM210M's (Match) Nosler 130g BT's, & Hodgdon H4831SC works for me.

    and again for the CCI 200 Large Rifle Primers. I use H4831SC, works a treat!

    I use CCI BR2 large rifle primers under H4831 or H4831SC* in my .270, usually topped off with a 130gn Hornaday Interlock bullet.

    *there's no difference in burn rate, SC just meters better in powder dispensers.

    I use Federal GM, but I think Brewsher's last line is probably the important bit.
