A few Hours This Morning On The Corvids

Up at 3.30 am this morning and gave Bossman a shout as we had arranged to have a go at some Crows over decoys,One of my Farmers has just cut and picked up the grass for Silage in a few fields , and yesterday there was plenty of Corvid action. This morning we got to the field at 4.00 am and set up the hide big enough for us both to get in , we had only just finished setting the pattern out when the birds started dropping in to the Decoys. We were both in the same hide taking it it turns for the shot i think i shot more than Bossman ...Lmao.. it was a good mixture of birds Rooks,Crows and Jackdaws and after we packed up at 8.00 ish we had accounted for over 70 Birds not bad on just a freshly mown and picked up grass field. I will await Bossmans Comment lol

Always nice when a plan comes together. Out of interest what size shot do you use on the crows?

    Regards,

    Mike
