    Foxes with the 22-250

Caught up with these 2 with the 22-250. I am really starting to like this caliber!!! 1st pic was this morning she was out to 150+ yards going away from me, a quick squeak turned her broadside and down she went. Second pic was last night. I was watching a Doe to see if any Bucks were around when out he came from a rough patch I took him off the sticks at 50yards!!

very nice, if you try some 58grain vmax in your .243 you would get very similar performance though probably not the best on roe!

Well done. 22.250 is a great calibre I loved using mine.

It certainly is a cracking round and packs a punch for its size!

Try loading down to 40g Noslers rounds at 4200 fps...now that is a fast flat foxing round, some all say they have runners using the lower weight bullet but I never did....MMMMM I'm talking myself into getting another

Never been a fan of the 40gr's had a few runners, not many, all were dead when found. But not one fox has ever got up from a centre mass shot from a 50gr VMax or Nosler BT. LOVE the .22-250!!!!
I'm telling Captain - from the Wee'est of men.

I love my 22/250 but am also using a 5/35 SMC now with 32grain bullets. Only time I have had runners was using A Max type bullets (bergers really bad too). A good expanding and fast round will do em.

I used to easily get that with 52gr A-max out of my 22-250 AI but now shoot a much more civilised .22BR, 40grn Blitskings come out of that at 3950fps
