    Hi,
    can anyone reccomend a good rifle vice/cleaning station.

    I know this is an old post but the MTM Range Box is pretty handy - about 60 or so, iirc.
    The mounting grips hold rifles well and it is quite sturdy, lots of places to keep little jags and brushes etc.

    Only pain is having to take your full length cleaning rods seperate...

    Take a look at the Tipton Gun Vice i have used one for a few years now can't fault it, great for cleaning loads of compartments for tools, jags etc, very handy for mounting scopes to

    gun rest

    I use a caldwell shooting rest. 30 off the bay does the job.

    +1, bought their gun rest as well, cheap, but does the job and light

    Henry Krank does one that is a box and you turn the lid over and it is a gun vise.

    Tipton Gun Vice for me, costly but wouldn't be without it now!
