87 grain spitzer varminte

would love to use imr 4350 but cant get hold of any along with varget reloader 17 3rd choice, but cheers anyway .

I use Reloader/Elcho 17 for all my 25-06 loads. I've not tried 87 grain bullets but I had cracking results with 85 grain NBT (v). The most accurate loads were at the max stated for 87 grain bullets 54.5 grains. Having said that they were only marginally better than those with 54.0 grains.

Load data for 25-06 and reloader 17

Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide

If reloader 17 works for you, try to source Elcho 17 it's the same powder but only costs £55 per kilo as apposed to reloader 17 at £36 per pound.

As an aside I tried the 75 V-max but could not get them to group very well.
