    redtail hawk breeders

    I know a few guys on here share my interest in falconry and was just wondering if anyone knows of anyone breeding redtails this year? I am looking for a male, cheers guys.

    About 20 pairs flying wild in Norfolk at the moment but don't know the legal eagle on collecting invasive species from the wild ... someone ?

    Worth trying birdtrader or the hunting life forum, there are usually a few for sale.

    Try the ibr they will know breeders as they supply the rings chap .

    I don't think they will be redtails flying around, probably ex falconry harris hawks that have escaped, lol, have got quite a few feelers out in the falconry community but this year has been a terrible breeding year so far so thought I would spread the net a bit so to speak, cheers guys.

    jim smith in scotland, his birds are top class, have flown a gos and harris hawks bred by jim, everyone of them are superb.. his redtails are of good size aswel

    Yes your right must be Harris hawks, not an uncommon sight

    Jim Smith , I sold him one of his breeding female gosses a few years back originally bred by Dave Burn in Durham.
