    Personal best - with thanks!

Just a quick note to thank SD members for the unstinting help and advice I've had since putting up my first post 3 years ago, having just bought a .22LR.
At that time, I couldn't hit an A4 size target at 30 yards!

All my trivial questions have been answered. Loads of advice given. People have sent me bits of kit FOC, and I've even had practical help in the field from an SD member.

First season rabbitting I stayed well within a 50 yard "comfort zone".
Last year I began to push it out to 65 yards.

Last night.... Head shot rabbit at 100 yards!!! (Well, 99 to be precise, but I rounded it up for grandiosment!)

Old hat to some folk, I know, but I couldn't have done it without all the help and advice on here.

    Thanks chaps

    Well done mate!
Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not using it in a fruit salad.

Amateurs practice until they get it right. Professionals practice until they never get it wrong.

Just need to try and achieve similar results with the .243 now! It's like starting all over again. Watch this space for trivial questions...

You're welcome mate. Glad to have been able to assist. I hope you've got a good bank balance because this shooting lark is very addictive as you're quickly finding out!
