    Cfe223

    Hi all
any one got any experience of the cfe223 powder I am wanting to reload .308 with 150 grain soft points and also .222 with 50 grain v max it would be nice if I could just use 1 powder and wondered if the above would do the job?

I've sold about 12 pounds of the stuff . But as far as actually using it myself sorry I can't comment .

I can however say that a couple fellows I sold it to are very happy with it .

They are advertising it in the Henry Krank brochure

"If" and it's a mighty big if , if you can get your hands on a July 2013 copy of "The American Rifleman" they have an article on the "new" powders and there's a blurb in there on CFE223 as well as a couple other powders that would pretty much fill the same bill !

If you are unaware "The American Rifleman" is one of the publications of the National Rifle Association in the USA .

Guess you did not bother to check if they have it in stock then?
    Brochure means nothing.

OK, they have never had any and are unlikely to get any in the foreseeable future - some may make the UK next year if we are lucky - doubt that we will see any this year.
I have stuck with H380 for my progressive press. Will try cfe223 to see if it lives up to velocity expectation when it arrives on these shores.
