    22/250 load

    Hi all ive got a load that my 22/250 likes,now it seems i cant get the heads i normally use,if i use the same cases ,primers,powder and seat the different heads to the same depth etc .ie normally use midway 55 grain softpoints but i cant find any,but i can get winchester 55 grain softpoints for a good price so thinking of using them.will they shoot the same or should i work up another load from scratch.any advice app thanks .stuart

    You can only experiment, however, replacing an existing bullet with a different one of similar style has worked, with no other alterations, quite a few times for me.

    I had great success with Reloder 7 in my .22-250.

    i would star off where you last load was and see how they shoot. you can always make some more with longer col. and just shortening them 5 tho a time till the groups tighten up
