Does anybody use them ? Are they 100% waterproof? I travel to Ireland in 2 weeks by airplane and would like to take a light silent rainjacket for warmer weather, wich I could also use with an extra fleece in colder months. Something that packs easely in the luggage.
Other options are Ridgeline Mallard or Country Covers waterproof field jacket.

I have the original Deerhunter Game Stalker jacket and the Ridgeline Mallard. The Ridgeline has been out in some atrocious weather and has kept me dry. the same cannot be said for the Game stalker jacket. I find both of them very warm and wouldn't wear them in warm weather, however, I'm not very fit so get warm doing anything physical. I tend to use a fleece at this time of year and use a montane lightweight smock, the one that folds down to the size of an apple, under the fleece if the weather turns bad. I don't necessarily stay completely dry, but don't get cold or too warm.
