Quick query: does anyone know if there are fallow in North Fife, above the Tay estuary east of Newburgh?

I could have sworn I saw a few driving past, but it may just have been sleep deprivation.

You could be right ! There was a few swam over from mugdrum island the other week the we're heading down towards Newburgh ! Of you may have passed the deer farm on the coast road out of Newburgh up on the hill on the hrs heading east

David ! I know there a few roe bucks been seen swimming over the forth during the rut ! apparently forth ports has to escort them through the shipping lane !

I remember a guy a few years back advertising Fallow stalking around Fife in his christmas tree plantations.

I know the deer farm - I got fooled by them the first few times I was up there.

As for Mugdrum island - are there deer on there? Doesn't look like it would support them.

Yes there are fallow on mugdrum island ! They were released on there years ago ! There was a very low tide a few weeks back and some were seen swimming over the Tay towards Newburgh ! I have seen some in the past around glenfarg and have heard of numerous other sightings around that area
