    Water stain

I have a water stain on one of the lenses of my binoculars. At least I think that is what it is. Looks like a splash of water has evaporated from the glass but left its mineral content behind. Nothing serious just more of an annoying blemish. Any ideas of how to remove it? It has been on the glass for nearly two years nows and has been cleaned normally umpteen times. Thanks MM.

    water stain

I had the same thing a while back, we had been out all night in an absolute downpour, rain had dried on the lenses, so I gave the lenses a good dousing with isopropyl alcohol & then straight under the cold water tap followed by a good careful drying with a lens cloth, resulting in cleared lens.
