    bucks for carp

I got my carp rods out for the second time this year, fished a local pond, I had a fantastic day, it was slow to begin with but as anglers left it got better and better, I landed about 15, lost about 6 , biggest was 11lb, not a monster but gave a cracking fight, I did lose a couple of good ones, one off the surface and the other off the bottom, the surface one powered into the snags and the bottom hooked fish also powered for the same snag, I really bent into this one and the hooked pulled, the ones that get away, was a great day, am all set ready to go again, the bucks are not going anywhere so they can wait.

    To true!!!
Great feeling when the float instantly sinks, you then strike and that instantly curve appears in your rods. Not as good as placing cross hairs like....

The shot only takes a split second, a battle with the the carp considerably longer

Yeh, but I'm sure many a stalk/battles take longer than landing a carp.
