i am shooting the sameish gun as you 20" Sako 85 varmint check out this site its data is for 20"&22" barrels
    http://www.realguns.com/loads/243.htm

my favorite loads for deer (fallow) are
    1/ 85gr TSX ,38gr Varget /48gr RL19 .Rem 9 1/2 primer
    2/ 85gr Sierra HPBT 38grVarget /48gr RL19, Rem 9 1/2 primer

i found the Varget and RL19 loads with the TSX or HPBT give the same POI and no deer has stayed on its feet for more than 5 seconds after being hit ,most go down very quick.

    hope this helps.....neil

My Sako 85 loves VV N160, 42grains below a Nossler 90 grain Balistic Tip loaded 10 thousands of an inch off the lands.
    Deer legal load.
