Thread: Timmey adjustment?

    Timmey adjustment?

I've recently bought a timney trigger for my Remington 700 which I've adjusted to its minimum pull weight of 1.5 lb. I'd like it lighter though and was wondering if there's anything that could be done to allow this to happen?

The Timney is designed to go down to 1.5lbs so really if you want less then it's stump up for a specialist target trigger like the Jewel.

Why try to go below it's design range? if you do and it causes problems then your on your own.

+1. I have fitted Timney on my Remington 700 set at 2.5 lbs, wouldn't go any lower on a stalking/foxing rifle. Can touch 3 rounds at 100yrds and have taken foxes out to 300 yrds.
