    What bullet for target on .223 1 in 8 twist

    Can anyone reccomend a suitable bullet for targets for .223 1in 8 twist barrel please.

    Of course , why wouldn't they be?

    i use varget with my 1-8 Sako 223 18" and the 75amax

    77gr SMK with 24.5 gr RL15 works well for me.

    My .223 is 1:8 and have a lot of data on heavy bullets in this. Suggest you get hold of Laurie Hollands series from Target Sports on loading bullets for .223.

    Berger LTB's are reputed to be very good ( but old style not readily avaialble)

    75 A max is a favourite.
